CheckinAtWork
In Belgium, the law obliges entrepreneurs to register their workers on construction sites worth over €500,000. With iBouw, you can register yourself and your workers in a few seconds on CheckinAtWork, wherever you are, using your phone.
The law
Since 1 April 2014, the law imposes the registration of persons who carry out real estate work on the premises where real estate works are performed, the total amount of which excluding VAT is equal to or greater than a certain amount: €800,000 on 1 April 2014, €500,000 on March 1, 2016 and the threshold will be re-evaluated downwards on January 1, 2017. We can therefore imagine that the threshold will be the lowest in 2018, and will affect the vast majority of stakeholders.
Registration of persons is not an obligation to be taken lightly. Indeed, the controls of the administration on the spot of the works are made more and more frequent and the fines can range from 60 € for the undeclared worker to 6000 € for the responsible contractor. The risk is real, protect yourself !
Our solution
With iBouw we offer a simple, effective and affordable solution for the registration problem.
When creating a project, you can enter the site’s DUC ID number.
When creating a worker, you can enter their national identification number.
Finally, just start a site visit. If the DUC ID number & national identification number have been completed, the application will automatically show a button that just click to report in real time to the NSSO. You are informed in real time of the status of your declaration, success or error.
